Chief Compliance Officer Bryn Griffith scoops prestigious award.

Bryn Griffith, Chief Compliance Officer at poundtoken, was shortlisted for two prestigious awards at the 2022 Isle of Man Institute of Directors Awards in both the Startup and Young categories. The latter recognises newer directors with under 3 years of board experience. The awards recognise the broad spectrum of leadership talent, success, and achievement amongst Isle of Man directors.

Jennifer Houghton, chairman of the Institute of Directors Isle of Man, said: ‘We were thrilled to receive so many nominations, which enabled the judges to shortlist such high calibre finalists within each category. It is also a testament to the prestige that the awards have acquired within our business community. The number of nominations and quality of our finalists also recognise the significant growth that IoD Isle of Man has experienced in the last year.’

On receiving the award for Director of the Year, Startup Bryn commented, “Wow! Being nominated for Start-up Director of the Year was exciting enough, but winning is truly amazing! The award belongs to the whole team, who have collectively achieved so much in such a short time. We have plenty more in the pipeline, so watch this space. It’s an exciting time to be in this industry. What a team!”

poundtoken CBO Michael Crosbie commented: “We’re incredibly proud of Bryn’s achievements and thankful for the pivotal role he has played in poundtoken’s success. This recognition from our peers is more than deserved and we should add thanks to the Isle of Man Institute of Directors for hosting a great event, giving the whole team the chance to celebrate with Bryn in style. Congratulations, Bryn!”
