This policy describes how PoundToken produces, checks and corrects its journalism.

Accuracy and sourcing

• Every news story is based on identifiable, publicly available sources, which are named in the text.
• Facts, figures and quotes must appear in the underlying source material. We do not invent or extrapolate numbers.
• Quotes are reproduced exactly and attributed, or not used at all.

AI assistance

PoundToken uses AI systems to draft news articles from source material. The systems are instructed to write original text, attribute claims, skip stories that cannot be verified, and refuse promotional material. AI-assisted articles are labelled with a note at the end of the article.

No financial advice

Nothing on PoundToken is investment, legal or tax advice. We do not tell readers to buy or sell any asset, and we do not publish price predictions as fact. Crypto markets are highly volatile.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it. Material corrections are made directly in the article and the updated timestamp reflects the change. Spotted an error? Use the contact page and we will review it promptly.

Advertising

Any future advertising or affiliate relationships will be clearly labelled and will never influence news coverage.
